Kane Blackman President
Current President of the Leederville Sporting Club, and Member for 3 Years
Father of two young boys (Finn and James) and together with my wife Sarah, we are strongly engaged and connected to the West Leedy community and all things Bowlo.
Currently the Chief Executive Officer of Good Sammy Enterprises, and a Non-Executive Director of various health and disability boards.
Passionate about inclusion, improved opportunities for people with disability, activating community spaces, and 1980s beer prices.
Deborah Connell (Nee Pett) Vice President
Resident of West Leederville for 32 years and a direct neighbour to the LSC for that time. I have served on the Committee for the past few years, and been actively involved in club, community and family activities at the LSC for over 15 years.
I have nine children and ten grandchildren, all of whom value the Club and the safe family venue and amenity that it provides for our community. We are really keen to engage our education, business and residential community to build an even stronger and inclusive amenity for everyone. I am extremely excited about our future, despite the challenges that Covid-19 has presented to us over the past few years. I believe the Club has seen significant change over recent times and it is important that we continue to manage the growth and expansion carefully and sensitively for all of our community.
Matt Johnstone Summers Secretary
I am the current Secretary of The Leederville Sporting Club and have served in that capacity during several terms over the years having first joined the club over twenty years ago.
It has been amazing to see the recent transformation of the club with increasing community engagement and support from local, state and federal levels of government and it is a privilege to lead the club through the next stage of renovations and improvements over the next year.
I have lived in West Leederville since arriving from Sydney in 1992.
I am local real estate agent with over thirty years sales experience, I am Captain of The Fairway Sportsman's Golf Club playing out of Wembley and I have keen interest and personal collection of Australian Militaria.

Brain Buckley
My name’s Brian Buckley. I’m a local Dad living on Tate St (Baghdad end) with my wife and our three girls. I’ve been on the Bowlo committee for the last two years looking after the bar offering and festoon lights.
-wise, I own and run a couple of pubs in Northbridge (Picabar) and South Freo (Percy Flint) with my brother, Conor (also a member).
think the Club has become a great venue for the neighbourhood and beyond and look forward to it going from strength to strength in the years ahead.
Erynne Campbell
Erynne is an active member of the West Leederville community and an existing Bowlo Committee member. Having lived and owned property in West Leederville for almost 20 years, she is well connected to the residents and committed to the continuous improvement of the area. Erynne sells Real Estate in the area and has two young children at West Leederville Primary School. With a corporate background in HR and Change Management supported by a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UWA, Erynne understands the many dynamics that contribute to making the Bowlo thrive, including the reliance on passion and generosity from the constituents of the community. She has enjoyed working with the current committee to ensure our events have been successful and membership growth continued.
Cam Sinclair
Cam is an experienced business owner, political campaigner and community engagement expert. He runs a successful digital marketing business which helps innovative businesses around the world grow and succeed.
Cam lives in Leederville with wife Arabella and daughters Elizabeth and Harriet.
Cam’s background in business and politics gives him a strong appreciation for governance, community engagement and splitting the G.
Jo McAllister
Jo has lived in West Leederville for 25 years, run a business from West Leederville for nearly 20 years and is a long-time member of the Bowlo. Having been a member of several boards and committees, Jo understands the need for collaboration and is keen to ensure that the Bowlo continues to provide services and facilities that are relevant and valued by the community. Jo has a background in governance and commercial law.
Len Bowman
I have been an active member of the Leederville Sporting Club (Bowlo) for over 11yrs.
I am the proud father of 3 grown up married daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
Since becoming a members over 11 years ago I have seen many changes and congratulate the Bowlo on the current position with over 1000 members and growing and also the ongoing commitment for the members and Local Community.
Also I am currently a member and volunteer of the West Perth Football Club helping out for over 12yrs now.
I have many friends at the Bowlo and look forward to playing an active part as a Committee member.
Leo Gallop
My name is Leo Gallop, I work as a lawyer and with my wife and daughter, have been proud residents of Wesst Leederville for the past 10 years.
I take every opportunity to describe the virtues of our suburb and our community to others and very quickly these conversations get to the Bowlo and its amazing transformation in recent years as a standout community space.
I am very much looking forward to making a contribution to the Bowlo via the committee, with a focus on collaboration, governance, strategic planning and open access.
