Volunteer
As a not-for-profit club, despite enjoying a strong membership base, we are highly reliant on our volunteer network to provide the glue that holds our community together.
Even assisting with the smallest of tasks, ‘volunteering’ can make an enormous difference to the lives of those people who connect and congregate at the Bowlo.
Volunteering provides a fantastic opportunity for meeting other like-minded people, joining in the sense of ‘community’, giving back to a social and recreational hub that supports connection, congregation and company. Volunteers can provide a range of support services to the administration and general running of the Club. We run busy-bees managed by volunteers, three times a year to ensure the Club is at its best for high profile events like Australia Day, Anzac Day, Disability Day, Christmas in July, Mothers and Fathers’ days and Community Day. Volunteers maintain the greens, surrounds and our community garden, provide general maintenance and installation of equipment and infrastructure, wood for the fire place as well as many other activies.
Volunteering provides an avenue to get actively involved in the Club, contributing to the culture that builds a thriving inclusive, social and recreational hub for the Community.
If you are interested in getting involved contact our Volunteer representative, Deb on 0417931138.
